FINRA suspended and fined $5,000 Jerry Michael Wells (CRD #1015358) from Fairport, New York for falsely represented that variable annuity purchases were not variable annuity replacements. In addition, he completed and submitted variable annuity applications and disclosure forms that falsely represented that each recommended variable annuity would not replace or change one or more existing variable annuity. The suspension is in effect from January 6, 2020, through March 5, 2020.
