FINRA fined $5,000 and suspended Christopher Lowell Childers (CRD #2175772) located in Johnston, Iowa for failing to timely execute a customer’s transaction resulting in an almost four-month delay in the customer’s purchase of a variable annuity. Additionally, he created a false impression that he had already submitted the variable annuity transaction for approval, Childers provided the customer with a falsified variable annuity account statement. The suspension is in effect from October 7, 2019, through February 6, 2020.
