FINRA fined Thomas Z. Tan (CRD# 5640035) of A.G.P./ Alliance Global Partners (f/k/a Euro Pacific Capital, Inc.) of Newport Beach, California, $5,000 and suspended him 3 months for allegedly having charged an Issuer for filing a Form 211 in violation of FINRA rules 5250 and 2010. Without admitting or denying the findings, Tan consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that he improperly charged a client of his member firm $6,000 for filing a Form 211 with FINRA. On learning that Tan had improperly charged the client for the Form 211 filing, the firm withdrew the Form 211. After the discovery of the investigation, Tan was permitted to resign from his firm.
