FINRA suspended Michael B. Mountjoy (CRD #4421573) from Louisville, Kentucky of LPL FINANCIAL LLC for participating in private securities transactions without providing prior written notice to his member firm. Moreover, Mountjoy solicited investors, consisting of friends and business associates, to purchase interests in a Limited Liability Company (LLC) formed to invest in a minor league professional soccer team. The suspension is in effect from May 4, 2020, through November 3, 2020.
